Our US firm, Alvarez and Marsal, recently published an article examining the Biden Administration’s 2023 Green Book, which highlights the US government’s discretionary spending plan for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2022, along with its long-term infrastructure and social spending plans.
The article notes that the 2023 Green Book assumes that a version of the Build Back Better Act (BBBA) will be enacted, but given the uncertainty surrounding the BBBA, it is unclear whether any of these “new” proposals will be enacted by Congress.
